I cannot believe that we met so long ago. I was so excited to meet you, but super nervous at the same time. These are the earliest pictures of us that I could find. I still remember that time I shook your brothers hand and introduced myself twice. This was the last hike we took before you had to leave for school 😢

The first time I came to see you in Kelowna was soooo amazing. I remember going to Best Buy after work the day before to buy you those jaybirds you lost. They made you smile so much, it filled me with joy to see you open them. These pictures are from our first iconic hike on Knox. If you remember correctly I didn't know how to use your backpack straps and accidentally undid them.

After you left for school it was hard to be without you for so long, but we made it through just fine by facetiming every night. Each day we would talk I would fall deeper in love with you. We had some of the best moments over facetime, one of my favourites being when you made your ham & pea soup and we just couldn't stop laughing!

Before we met, I had never been to a concert before and when you booked us to go to our first one it was amazing! We had so much fun. You were were so tired on the ride backhome that you fell asleep on my shoulder.
